Experience Essential
Driving License Essential Office Based With External Appointments
If you’re already working in Property Management and feel ready for a move to an established agency where property management is a core part of the business, this is worth a conversation.
Based in Nottingham City Centre, this is a well-established property business that has been operating locally since 2003, with a strong presence across residential lettings, property management and sales.
You’ll be joining a business with an established landlord and tenant client base, a varied portfolio and more than two decades of experience in the Nottingham market.
Why this company is different
This isn’t a newly built portfolio or an agency still trying to establish itself.
The business has been managing and letting property across Nottingham for over 20 years, covering everything from city-centre apartments and investment properties through to family homes and HMOs.
Their current portfolio reaches across Nottingham City Centre and surrounding areas including The Lace Market, The Park, Lenton, Mapperley and West Bridgford.
For an experienced Property Manager, that means joining a recognised operation with an existing client base, established processes and plenty of variety in the properties and situations you’ll manage.
The role
You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of managed properties, becoming the key point of contact for landlords and tenants and making sure issues are dealt with professionally, efficiently and with good commercial judgement.
The emphasis is on properly managing relationships and protecting your landlords’ investments, rather than simply processing maintenance requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own portfolio of residential properties
- Building strong, long-term relationships with landlords and tenants
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs from initial report through to completion
- Managing contractors and ensuring works are completed to the right standard
- Carrying out property inspections and following up on any issues
- Managing deposit, tenancy and end-of-tenancy matters
- Keeping landlords informed and helping them make sensible decisions about their properties
- Ensuring your portfolio remains compliant with current lettings legislation
- Resolving problems before they become bigger ones
What will help you succeed
You’ll ideally already have experience within residential Property Management or Lettings and understand what it takes to manage a busy portfolio properly.
You’ll be organised, confident dealing with landlords and tenants, comfortable making decisions and able to keep control when several issues need attention at once.
Most importantly, you’ll care about doing the job well. This business is looking for someone who takes ownership rather than simply passing problems on.
What’s on offer
£28,000-£30,000 depending on experience
You’ll also get the opportunity to join an established Nottingham property business with more than 20 years of local trading history, a broad managed portfolio and a city-centre location.
If you’re currently managing property and wondering whether there’s a better platform for the next stage of your career, this could be the move you’ve been waiting for.
