The role

You’ll be involved throughout the lettings process, working closely with applicants, landlords and the wider team to keep deals progressing and deliver a positive experience.

Key areas will include:

• Building relationships with new and existing applicants
• Matching tenants with the right properties and maximising viewing opportunities
• Conducting viewings and converting interest into applications
• Following up enquiries proactively rather than waiting for applicants to call back
• Negotiating offers and helping progress agreed lets
• Developing strong relationships with landlords and tenants
• Keeping property and applicant information accurate and up to date
• Contributing ideas and energy to help grow the lettings business

What will help you succeed?

Previous estate agency or lettings experience would be particularly useful, along with a confident, personable approach.

You’ll enjoy speaking with people, be comfortable picking up the phone and have the commercial awareness to recognise an opportunity when you see one.

Just as importantly, you’ll care about delivering a service that makes applicants, tenants and landlords want to recommend the business.
