We’re looking for a confident Lettings Valuer / Lister to join a successful Mansfield operation, with a £28,000 basic salary plus commission and the opportunity to build your earnings by winning new instructions and growing the lettings portfolio.

The role

As Lettings Valuer / Lister, your focus will be on generating and converting valuation opportunities, securing new instructions and helping grow the company’s presence across Mansfield and the surrounding area.

You’ll combine strong local market knowledge with a consultative approach, giving landlords the confidence to choose you and the agency to manage their property.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out rental valuations and winning new landlord instructions
• Building relationships with new and existing landlords
• Following up valuation opportunities and converting them into business
• Advising landlords on pricing, presentation and the local rental market
• Identifying opportunities to grow the managed portfolio
• Maintaining a strong pipeline of future instructions
• Working closely with the wider lettings team to bring new properties to market successfully
• Developing your profile and reputation within the local Mansfield market

What will help you succeed?

You’ll ideally already have experience within residential lettings, particularly in a valuation, listing or business-generation role.

You’ll be comfortable sitting in front of a landlord, understanding what matters to them and explaining clearly why they should instruct your agency rather than a competitor.

A strong commercial instinct, good knowledge of the lettings process and the confidence to follow up opportunities consistently will all be important.

Previous experience of the Mansfield or surrounding property market would be particularly useful.
