The role

As Lettings Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the branch’s lettings operation.

You’ll be visible, hands-on and commercially focused, supporting the team, winning new business and making sure opportunities aren’t being missed.

Key responsibilities

Driving growth across the lettings department and increasing market share
Winning new instructions and building relationships with landlords
Coaching and motivating the team to improve individual and branch performance
Ensuring applicants and landlords receive a consistently high standard of service
Maximising opportunities from valuations, enquiries and existing clients
Monitoring key numbers and taking action where performance can improve
Maintaining strong compliance and operational standards
Building the branch’s reputation across the local Stoke-on-Trent market

What will help you succeed

You’ll ideally already have experience within residential lettings and understand what it takes to run a successful operation.

Management experience would be valuable, although an ambitious Assistant Lettings Manager or Senior Lettings Negotiator who is already leading others and ready for the next step could also be worth considering.

You’ll need to be confident winning business, comfortable managing performance and capable of creating a positive, accountable team culture.
